A summary of the 9/18 - 9/20 Fall Campout at Camp Trevor Rees-Jones

Pack 404,

We had a super time at Camp Trevor Rees-Jones. With families arriving both Friday and Saturday, we settled in at our campsite, Cedar Gap. We had a scenic view. Check the galleries for photos being posted soon! We were very close to the dock for fishing, and many scouts and dad's took advantage of it. The Jenkins, Pollocks, Hunts, Gibsons and many others were the most active fishermen, with Sun fish, some small bass, and a very large catfish being caught. One highlight was the pond's alligator population which claimed a few fising bobbers!

• We also passed out Class B tshirts, raingutter Regatta Boats, and neckerchiefs and slides. If you missed the campout, please reach out to your den leader to line up getting these items! We'll be bringing them to all the next few meetings as well
• We had a great time with the field day program. Scouts joined in friendly competition in soccer relay, tug o' war and flag football. We mixed and matched the teams and the scouts NEARLY beat the whole pack leadership team at tug'o war!
• Jesse Jenkins and Aiden Hunt earned their Whittling Chip badges!
• We also had a tasty cookout dinner, smores, campfire, and plenty of time for scouts to just explore on their own.
